SOLD OUT SHOW! Possible seats available at the door if there are cancellations.
Join us Friday, April 6th for a special performance by Carey Appel. Music has been Carey's passion since she was 5 years old. After a career in retail, the LA native returned to music in 2004 and has performed in both the US and abroad. She has recorded 2 CDs’
with legendary musicians, and now enjoys song writing and performing in the folk community.
“I melt when I hear female vocalists who remind me of Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Carly Simon and Laura Nyro. Carey Appel is one of them. She wastes no time capturing your heart.” Jazzwax, May 2013. Carey and her husband particularly love living here in Ojai
which she terms “an inspiration, and much to be grateful for.” Her CD’s will be available for sale and proceeds will be donated to the Folk Musician’s Relief Fund, a charity she and her husband founded last year to help musicians in need.
The show will begin at 7:30, and there is a $15-$20 suggested donation at the door, and beverages are also available.
